In Ulvik, Hardanger you will find the only fruit and cider route in Norway, consisting of three farms - Hakastad, Syse and Lekve. Join in on a guided tour for a unique peek "behind the scenes" or sample some scrumptious goods from the farmyard shops. This is a walking tour, and does not include transport to and from the farms.

Experience the Fruit and cider route in combination with a guided tour at Ulvik Frukt & Cideri as well as one of the following farms: Syse Gard or Hardanger Saft og Siderfabrikk.

You can start the tour on your own from the tourist information / center of Ulvik where you walk along the fjord to the start ofApalvegen. We recommend starting by foot from the center of Ulvik about 45 minutes before your first tasting. It is also possible to drive directly to the farms.

Along Apalvegen you can visit the three fruit and cider farms, where everyone has a farm shop. The farm shops are open Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00.

The first tasting takes place at Ulvik Frukt & Cideri (Hakastad gard). Here you get to experience 3 different products in combination with storytelling and an introduction to culture and traditions. For the second tasting, you can choose between Syse Gard and Hardanger Saft and Siderfabrikk. Both offer unique flavors and stories.

This package only includes two tastings and guided tours, but if you want to visit all the farms both Syse Gard and Hardanger Saft og Siderfabrikk offer a delicious local cider plank that can be bought on the farm.

You can start the tour whenever you want, but the first tasting begins at 12:30.

Note that you have to be over 18 years old to participate in the cider tasting.
