The hotel has 15 small cozy rooms and 2 suites, all differently decorated with their own personal style. The rooms are newly refurbished in historic style with a warm and friendly atmosphere and equipped with TV and free wifi. The Holberg suite has a full kitchen and a larger seating area - perfect for smaller courses and board meetings, gatherings and other events. At Kongens torv you can stay in your own private suite, in the old Rådhusstallen with private patio, two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen.

Gamlebyen Hotell Fredrikstad enjoys a unique location in the heart of the Old Town. Here you can have a coffee with the locals on the “gossip bench” or jugabenken right outside. A few steps further and you’re at Gamlebyen Gjestgiveri’s breakfast room – you’ll have a lovely start to your day in this old rectory with its vast windows and views of the river and the fortress town.

Breakfast is served at Restaurant VÆRK a few steps away, where you can get à la carte later in the day. As a guest at Gamlebyen Hotell you get a 10% discount on lunch and dinner from the menu.
